Changes to the way we engage socially and interact with others can lead to feelings of loneliness and isolation. This will have a huge impact on our wellbeing and for many of us this can be a very challenging time. Attendees will need to set an objective for what they would like to get out of this workshop and commit to actions resulting from the workshop to bring into their daily lives.
This module focuses on:
• Creating a discussion around the importance of staying connected and the difference between feeling lonely and being alone
• Sympathy vs empathy
• Effective communication
• Acknowledging your support network
