Description

Conditional Formatting is a great way to quickly visualise data in a spreadsheet.  This is for those requiring an understanding of how Conditional Formatting can be applied.

Prerequisites
A good working knowledge of Excel.
PLEASE NOTE: This is the 5th course in a suggested series of the 14 Excel sessions available.

  • What is Conditional Formatting?
  • Demonstrating preset highlighting rules
    • Highlight Cells Rules
    • Top/Bottom Rules
    • Data Bars
    • Colour Scales
    • Icon Sets
  • Creating a Conditional Formatting rule using a formula
  • Clearing existing rules
  • Highlighting an entire record

The session will take between 30-40 minutes to complete and is followed by a Q & A which is optional to attend.
