Advanced Telephony Survey Hello Thank you for taking the time to complete this survey. Your GP Practice has been allocated funding by Tees Valley CCG (TVCCG) to help improve your current telephony system (also known as Voice Over IP or VOIP). NECS (North of England Commissioning Support) will be working with you, throughout the project to provide support and guidance. The aim of this survey is to help us at NECS to capture some background information about your current system and help us gain an understanding of the needs of your GP Practice. I appreciate some of these questions may have been answered, but we need to ensure we have the most up to date information. Once we have collated your responses, we will be holding demonstrations led by suppliers and will work with you to help identify the best solution for you. We will also provide support to help facilitate the installation of your preferred system. Please Note: The installation of a new system may cause disruption to your GP Practice. Please consider the following issues and the impact they may have on your GP Practice: Installation of additional cabling for power or data that may be required Additional infrastructure to support the new technology New equipment may require additional space Consider how you would store and secure equipment Cost of decommissioning existing services and funding in place Cost of removal and disposal of current equipment Cost of potential extra broadband installation requirements (not including non-recurrent fees) The allocated funding is to cover the implementation of the system ONLY and is not a recurrent fee. All future running costs will need to be paid for by the GP practice. Things to be aware of: Funding of £8,384.00 is to cover all costs of implementing the new system. This is a non-recurrent fund. Tees Valley CCG will not contribute to buy-out costs for the termination of existing supplier contracts. You need to take into account your current contract and any cancellation charges you may incur as the new system would need to be installed in the financial year 2021/2022. You need to take into account the possibility of extra broadband support with the new supplier system. No extra funding will be available.
