The following courses are a list of what can be provided remotely by the Clinical System Specialist team – customers are welcome to request courses on any topic within the clinical system.

These courses are designed to be delivered via Microsoft Teams to end users who have access to a PC/Laptop with a microphone and speakers.

Furthermore, the courses can be customised / devised according to requests.

SystmOne - Induction
This course is aimed to give new staff a basic overview of SystmOne, its key features, how to navigate around, hints and tips etc.

All new staff are required to book onto this course before any other course topics.

Intended Audience:

New staff starting at a GP Practices.

Please note – Local process training will still be an essential part of training requirements but they will benefit from this formal training opportunity.

SystmOne - Rotas & Appointment Setup
How rota templates are created and used and the use of Appointment templates.

Intended Audience:

The staff within a practice who are very familiar with SystmOne and who wish to understand how to create, apply and manage rota templates.

Course length:
3 hours

SystmOne - Clinical Templates
How to create clinical / data entry templates for use in SystmOne.

Intended Audience:

For those with a good level of knowledge of SystmOne, who want to create their own clinical/data entry templates to standardise the data recorded into the clinical system.

3 hours

SystmOne - Letter Templates
How letter templates can be created and edited using Integrated Word.

Intended Audience:

The staff within a practice who wish to understand how to create and amend Letter Templates.

Course length:
2.5 hours

SystmOne - Reporting (Beginners)
Staff who want to learn the basics of reporting in SystmOne. How to amend an existing report and how to create a new report.

Please note for more advanced reporting skills there is a Reporting Intermediate course – details of this can be found on the Data Quality tab.

Intended Audience:

The staff within a practice who are not familiar with creating reports in SystmOne and who wish to know how to create and use them.

SystmOne - Consultations & Prescribing

Intended Audience:

Clinical staff who have completed the SystmOne Induction and who require more detailed training on recording consultations and prescribing medications.

Course length:
3 hours

SystmOne - Admin Repeat Prescribing
Intended Audience:

Admin staff who have completed the SystmOne Induction and deal with repeat prescribing requests.

Course length:
1 hours

SystmOne - Appointments & Reception
Intended Audience:

Reception staff who have completed the SystmOne Induction and who require more detailed training on the appointments and reception functionality available in SystmOne.

Course length:
3 hours

SystmOne - Protocols
The aim of course is to give staff the skills to understand where protocols might be used and to be able to create, amend and trigger them.

Intended Audience:

Staff who have a good level of knowledge of SystmOne and require the skills to create and amend protocols using various triggers.
