Description

A demonstration of useful hints and tips for Microsoft Teams.

Prerequisites
Ideally, previous viewing of “Teams – An Introduction” module or equivalent experience.

  • Managing attendee permissions
  • Why scheduling meetings from shared calendars leads to issues
  • Meet Now
  • The Join Screen
  • Phone audio – Teams give you a number to call after you join, or Teams can call you
  • Sharing – screen vs window plus other options
  • Sharing – Presenter mode
  • Meeting Options – both scheduling and during a meeting
  • Copying and Sharing a meeting link
  • Requesting someone to join
  • Spotlighting the speaker
  • Shortcut key to mute
  • Recording the meeting
  • Transcribing the meeting
  • Focus & Full Screen modes
  • Attendance Report
  • Leaving or Ending the meeting

The session will take between 45-55 minutes to complete and is followed by a Q & A which is optional to attend.
