Description
As part of the Manager’s Passport EDI Training we will be looking at:
- The importance of diversity and inclusion at NECS while examining the effects of privilege
- Provide attendees with an understanding of the Equality Act 2010 and how it affects us as individuals and also as an organisation
- Explore discrimination, case law, unconscious bias, disability and the support mechanisms in place for colleagues
- An overview of micro aggressions and how to manage them
- Equip attendees with a knowledge of bullying, harassment and victimisation and how to respond in different situations, as well as outlining reporting pathways
- Look at the difference between ‘banter’ and ‘incivility’
- An overview of reasonable adjustments and supporting colleagues
- Provide attendees with relevant signposting and how to promote diversity and inclusion in their teams
Please note that these sessions are for FMG members initially so if you book a place and are not a member, your booking may be cancelled.
