  • Project delivery across NECS
  • NECS Project Minimum Standards
  • Your role within the project
  • Requirements and techniques for project delivery
  • Internal governance and assurance processes
  • Project closure activities
  • Tool, templates, and guidance materials – Project Management Centre of Excellence (CoE)
  • Role of the Corporate PMO (Programme Management Office) and available support, incl. Project Management Network.

Objectives

  • Through a practical introduction to the standard NECS Project Management Approach and the Centre of Excellence, participants will have developed an understanding of how projects are expected to be managed within NECS and explore approaches to ensure internal and external expectations can be met.

If you require any reasonable adjustments or accessibility support as part of the session, please let us know as soon as possible, or where possible a minimum of 2 weeks in advance of the training date. This is to ensure that where feasible, appropriate accommodations can be put in place. If you have any concerns or queries in addition to this, then please contact the trainer/facilitator directly for a discussion.  Please contact necsu.corppmo@nhs.net
